It may end up being 10 books or 8 or 5 or 15! By setting a goal we are more likely to try to reach it and in this case that means reading! Some books won't even get recorded here, like the two books my husband read to our other kids before bed or the book my first grader read after school, but, ten books a day is a goal and it's fun to record what we're reading!

I had to ask my girls to wait on playing music because I knew Adam would get up and leave the books to go listen to music. He sat through all of these books in a row, then his sister played music and off he went. Books are equally as important as music, so it's all good.

Where to read?
We read on Adam's bedroom floor, then we read on the girls' bedroom floor where they have a soft rug to sit on.

The morning of November 20th
Adam likes to watch Dora, so he watched some Dora, we read some books and now he is back to Dora. That means I should fold laundry. I'm glad we got to read a few books already today!

Scattered Library
We moved into our first house two months ago, before that we lived in military housing and apartments. My dream when we bought this house was to build our own bookshelves. Bookshelves cost money, especially real shelves made with actual wood. For now we have a scattered library, there are shelves of books in almost every room and there are piles of books in a few places as well. I think there are even some books that are not unpacked yet.
